Research #2 - Bella Kotak
Bella Kotak is a fine art, fashion and portrait photographer currently based in Oxford & London, England. She focusses mostly on fantasy photography. Her works are as if directly taken from fairy tales, such is the wonderful presence of mystical elements, the bright, almost palpable, intense colours and incomparable talent to bring stories to life.
Her portfolio presents a beautiful collection of fantasy photography portraits, that are indistinctly useful as research material for my Media Project II. I want to be able to carry the audience to the world of the character displayed on my portraits, to capture the model when she is right in the character and eternalize that moment in a photography. The elements of fantasy may vary, however Kotak is not scared of giving all, succeeding in every detail.
